Fashion Of Pirates of the Caribbean

NEW YORK, Sep 12, 2008 / FW/ — Cartoons and clowns wallpapered in the stage and a red French door as the backdrop, Betsey Johnson’s Spring 2009 collection is a delightful interpretation of Pirates of the Caribbean where the damsels in distress look like French mademoiselles and English ladies.

Bright spring colors that include the now ubiquitous pink and the must-have beige, Betsey Johnson sent layered frocks with tiny waists. Ruffles were proposed in different shapes and sizes – from the wide & sheered as seen on the skirts of dresses to tiny and tight on the bodice.
